Readle is the world’s first CEFR-graded language-learning reader for many languages. Readle provides a vast library of appropriated story lessons with instant translations, premium audio, interactive quizzes, and grammar explanations in context.

We decided to rename Langster to Readle to better communicate our focus on language learning through reading. You can keep using your existing subscription and account with the Readle app.

When tested on graded reading, we found that German university students processed and retained vocabulary much faster when using Readle to learn. Not only that, but they also enjoyed the process more compared to learning with traditional reading and listening material.

Readle offers English, German, French, Spanish, Japanese, and Mandarin Chinese story lessons. We will continue to add more learning languages!

Learners can check in occasionally to take advantage of our rotating free stories, but reading all the stories at once does cost a small fee, which we use to keep improving Readle.

Readle is best suited for learners who already have a basic understanding of their target language and want to quickly improve their reading, listening, and vocabulary.

To manage your subscription, follow these steps:

(1) For Android, open your Play Store app and go to your profile on the top right. Then go to "Payments and subscriptions".
(2) For iPhone and iPad, open the "Settings" app on your device. Then go to your name and open "Subscriptions."
(3) For a subscription via website, log in with the email you used for purchase. Then go to the settings in the app.
