Langster is now Readle

Dear Langster learners and partners,

After 3 years and the addition of 5 learning languages later, we'd like to inform you that the name Langster goes into early retirement, and the app will now go by Readle - Learn Languages.

The important-please-read part: you can keep using your existing Langster subscription and log in to your user accounts within the same app. All you have do is update the app from Langster to Readle on Google Play or the App Store.

Why did Langster become Readle?

Our goal is to double down on language learning through graded reading in CEFR-Levels. In German we always say: "Der Name ist Programm" meaning "The name says it all".

We figured that this is what we set out for, what we are good at, and there is quite some folks enjoying this stress-free learning method (thanks!).

Of course, Readle will continue Langster's legacy by offering fresh, short-form content that integrates listening, reading, grammar, and vocabulary training — all carefully designed to boost language skills in just 15 minutes a day. PR mode off.

Our commitment remains unchanged

This means we are going deeper into what we have. We want to build on three pillars: quality, interactivity, and community. No feature bloat, but thoughtful enhancements to your learning flow.

We'd like to ask you what you want to see in the future. Please fill out this 1-minute survey.

If you have any questions or thoughts, please feel free to reach out to our team at: [email protected]

Keep readling,
Marcel & Christian
