There are 3 groups of verbs in French. In the third one, there are mostly irregular verbs. However, we can group together some verbs ending in -re.

Conjugation
Rule 1: To conjugate in the present, one must replace -re with one of the following endings: -s, -s, -, -ons, -ez, -ent.
Here's an example with the verb attendre (to wait):

Exception
Not all verbs ending in -re are regular. You have to pay close attention.
